“Blade” Style Zulus

Blade style straps combine leather and canvas for improved strength and durability. Amazingly, they can be made as thin as 1.5mm. That’s thinner than your standard nylon Zulu. These straps can be made in an endless variety of combinations; leather, canvas, hardware, and thread. Don’t waste another dime on cheap Zulus or NATOs. These are only $65 shipped in the US. Add $7 international.<

Vat OD #7 (Olive Drab) 56-58″ 12.29 oz Army Duck Finished with CCC-D-950 Type I Class A
Made in USA

Vat dyed and water repellent treated in accordance with CCC-D-950 Type I Class A. This is the traditional fabric and finishing process used by the US government for equipage items such as duffel bags prior to the change to nylon. Vat dyes considered to be the best cotton dye, have excellent fastness to light , chlorine bleach, washing, crocking, bleeding, etc. They also have a large dye molecule so there is limited dye penetration which may be a problem for sewing (needle punching) and surface abrasion during use of the end item.

I can make these as thin as 1.8mm thick, see pics
